Welcome to Ged Green's Guitar Workshop!

Ged Green builds, repairs and modifies - guitars, basses, mandolins and most other stringed instruments, both electric and acoustic. Based in Cheadle, Cheshire, close to both Manchester and Stockport, near to junction 3 of the M60 ring road.

I have been working with and playing guitar and bass for over 30 years in both a professional and semi professional capacity. Consequently, I understand the standards and needs of working musicians. I know just how important it is to match the instrument to the player. A visit to the workshop, a telephone call or email will put you directly in contact with a wealth of experience and expertise. Guitar repairs and custom building are my main areas of specialism. As a musician, builder and repairer I have the experience to help you make the correct decisions about your instrument, its playabilty, response and sound.
